910038 - MST-After School
MST offers after school care for military, military connected youth and youth of the L’Anse Creuse school district. Students are provided a USDA approved healthy snack to give them a nutritious calorie boost after a long school day. Homework help is available anytime during program hours.
MST provides services within:
Arts, Recreation & Leisure
Board games, video games, billiards, movies, music, arts and crafts, socializing, drama activities, lifelong hobbies
Sports, Fitness and Health
Team sports, individual sports, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, biking, healthy habits, OAC
Life Skills, Citizenship, and Leadership
Team building, Torch and Keystone Clubs, community service opportunities, volunteer recognition, Youth of the Year
Academic Support, Mentoring, & Intervention Services
Power Hour Homework assistance, technology activities, STEM, public speaking, Resiliency activities, Youth Sponsorship program
The program is open from the last bell until 6:00 p.m. on all school days, including half-days with the exception of federal holidays. On half-days, lunch is provided in addition to the afternoon snack.
Registration and program participation are free and are provided by Detroit Arsenal Child & Youth Services (CYS) under authorization by the L’Anse Creuse School District. Is your youth ready for a summer of fun, adventure, friends, and exciting new activities? We
know we are Join us in 2025 for our School Age Summer Camp. We can’t possibly list all of
the awesome activities in this brochure but here are a few: STEM, robotics, sports, art
projects, experiments, music, and so much more We offer breakfast, lunch and an
afternoon snack daily (including field trip days). Youth also get to experience field trips,
clubs, and build awesome friendships that will last a lifetime.
5th grade campers only: All 5th graders will be at the Middle School and Teen camp held
over at L’Anse Creuse Middle School Central. There will also be a food
credit applied at 30 a week. 5th grade campers will follow the MST schedule.
Note this is only a request for care. Spaces will be offered based on priorities and availability.

Cost: 34 per youth per trip (except the caming trip, please register with Parent Central Services for camping trip.
We are pleased to offer Wednesday trips for individuals who are not signed up for week camp but would like to participate in these specific Wednesday trip days. This option allows youth to join us for exciting activities without committing to the entire camp session.
Bus departs Lanse Cruese Middle school at 9am and returns by 3pm.
