256106 - Battleground Bavaria PB FY25

Gear up for an adrenaline-packed adventure at our paintball battleground! Unleash your tactical prowess in a thrilling environment that blends strategy and excitement. No reservations needed – just show up, lock, load, and dominate the battlefield.

The Wild BOAR Paintball field will open from 12:00 - 16:00 on select dates for Battleground Bavaria: Paintball Sundays. The Wild BOAR Paintball field will also host evening sessions from 17:00 - 21:00 on select dates, for our afterwork event, Battleground Bavaria: Paintball Evenings.

For each event, pre-Registration is not required, but an onsite fee of $20 per person is required. The $20 includes a protective mask, air, and paintball marker. Paintballs are sold separately at $15 for 500 paintballs and $50 for a box of 2,000 paintballs. Participants must be 16+.

Price: $20 per person, $15 Bag of 500 Paintballs, $50 for a box of 2,000 Paintballs.

Interested in fishing in Germany? Outdoor Recreation makes it possible with a three day fishing course!

The Wild B.O.A.R. Outdoor Recreation Center has ten lakes and two streams available to fishermen. Once certified, participants have the opportunity to purchase a day or annual permit to fish our personal waters on USAG Bavaria as well as throughout Europe!

296074 - Hunting Course FY25

Become a licensed hunter with Wild B.O.A.R!

This course will prepare and allow participants to take the test to secure a German Hunting License. This course includes lessons on weapon safety, weapon handling, game biology, weapons law, hunting law and much more. This course meets 2-3 times a week to cover the required topics and requires you to practice with a weapon before your exam.

Upon registration for this course, you will need to complete a course registration packet that will contain more specific details of the course to include course dates and topics. This packet will also contain documents that you are required to complete to participate in the course. If signing up online, please stop by Wild BOAR to pick up your packet.

Dates: January 9th, 2025 - April 12th, 2025
Meetings will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and occasionally Saturdays as indicated by your instructor. Class meeting times will be from 18:00 - 20:30 on class dates.

Student Requirements: Current HFSS membership, must be 18 years old at time of testing, and German SOFA status.

Prices: $400

Included in this price is class instruction and course fees. This price does not include HFSS membership, ammunition, range fees, and other incidental fees that may incurred over the course.

Sundown Sends - Climb afterwork with the Wild B.O.A.R!

On designated nights Wild B.O.A.R will open its climbing hall for after work rock climbing. Scale new heights on our indoor climbing wall to relieve stress afterwork. Don't miss the chance to undergo rock climbing belay certification test outs during these special evenings.
Archery at our 3D archery range is also available during all Sundown Sends nights.

Starting in May 1st and ending October 1st, Boats will also be available for rent! Learn to standup paddleboard, kayak, canoe, or paddleboat and beat the summer heat.

All activities end at 21:00 on designated Sundown Sends Nights.

Youth are welcome with parents present!
No pre-registration required.

306048 - Rock Climbing Classes FY25

This course is a great introduction to the sport of rock climbing in an indoor setting. Our instructors will cover everything you need to know. This includes: Harnesses, Carabiners, Belay Devices, Ropes, Knots, Belay Technique, and how to utilize all of these skills to have a fun & safe time climbing!

This class takes approx. 2-2.5 hours and will prepare you to take our test to get qualified to top rope belay in our hall!

Participants ages 16 & 17 can participate without a parent present but require a waiver completed by their parent or guardian.

The $30 cost of this course includes: 1 Spot in the selected course date, instruction, and utilization of Wild B.O.A.R. equipment.

This class also includes a 50% discount of your climbing day pass and rental gear during your first return visit!

Discover Scuba – Explore the Underwater World with an SSI Instructor

See the world form a different angle, experience scuba diving for the first time with an SSI instructor. In this short class participants will learn about Scuba Equipment, Scuba Technique and experience breathing underwater. Participants will take a short online course before meeting with instructors at the Grafenwoehr pool to experience diving for themselves. This class will not issue a certification.

Class times: 8:30-10:30 – Weiden Pool, transportation optional.

Participants are required to be in good health and know how to tread water.

THIS IS FOR ADULTS ONLY!
Zumba workout mixes body sculpting movements with dance steps derived from cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, hip hop, mambo, rumba, flamenco, and calypso and Salsaton. The routines feature aerobic interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms. It targets areas such as the glutes, legs, arms, abdominals, and the heart.

What are spinning classes? Spinning classes or ‘group cycling’ is a fitness global revolution. If you’ve never experienced it, a proper spinning class can be one of the most amazing fitness experiences.
Indoor bikes or stationary bikes is considered one of the best ways to build up your cardio. It can be a light to moderate or a high-intensity workout making it such a versatile exercise machine ideal for beginners and experts.
This spin class workout includes intervals of high intensity spinning followed by periods of lower intensity indoor cycling. It’s a great idea to include indoor cycling class in your workout plan one to two days per week on days that you’re not lifting weights.

Rifle/Pistol Range (Range 116) is walking distance from the Camps and the Tower Barracks Shoppette and operated by Wild B.O.A.R. Outdoor Recreation! On select days, Range 116 is open to military id card holders and guests. Choose from a variety of rental pistols and rifles and hone your skills. Ammunition is available for purchase on site. Whether you are new to marksmanship or experienced our team wants to see you on Range 116.

No weapon license is required to utilize Range 116.
Children 14-18 may fire 22lr at Range 116.
